Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of CashMango. By creating an account or using our website or app, you agree to these terms.

Effective date: October 21, 2026

1. The service

CashMango is non-custodial software that helps business owners see what is happening across the businesses, projects, and other operations they own or oversee. Your team records the day's activity—sales, expenses, receipts, photos, and updates—and CashMango brings it into one owner view. The service may include app dashboards, optional payment-message capture (Mango Auto), summaries and insights, reminders, and related workflow features.

2. No custody or payment processing

CashMango does not hold your funds or process payments. Payments are made outside CashMango using channels you choose, such as mobile money, bank transfer, or cash. CashMango provides the records, workflow, visibility, and review layer around those transactions.

You may not use or describe CashMango as a wallet, escrow, settlement service, payment processor, funds intermediary, or licensed payment service provider, unless and until CashMango states otherwise in writing.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to create a CashMango account. You must also have authority to set up and manage any business, project, or operation, and to record information about any individual or organisation, that you represent through the service.

4. Accounts, roles, and access

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account. As an owner, you can invite other people—such as a manager, staff member, driver, or caretaker—and grant each of them access suited to their role. You are responsible for who you invite and the access you give them. Notify us immediately at support@cashmango.africa if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating an account, business, project, or record.
  • Only record payments, receipts, screenshots, photos, or other information that is truthful and not misleading.
  • Only record information about other people where you are authorised to do so, and inform them as required by law.
  • Use the service in compliance with applicable law, regulations, and the rights of others.
  • Not present CashMango as the holder or processor of funds.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not use CashMango to:

  • Commit fraud, impersonation, deception, or other unlawful activity.
  • Upload forged, misleading, or unauthorised receipts, screenshots, or records.
  • Infringe privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights.
  • Interfere with the platform, bypass security controls, or access accounts without authorisation.
  • Record, store, or process other people's data without an appropriate lawful basis.

7. Accuracy of records

CashMango helps you record, review, and reconcile activity, but you remain responsible for the accuracy of the information you or your team submit or approve. A record, screenshot, or payment message shown in CashMango is not a guarantee from CashMango that funds were actually transferred, cleared, settled, or received.

8. Mango Auto and device permissions

Mango Auto is an optional feature that records supported mobile-money payment alerts. If you enable it, you grant the necessary permission on your Android device, or you configure a shortcut on your iPhone, so that supported payment messages can be read and recorded. You are responsible for the device and for ensuring you may lawfully use the messages received on it for this purpose. You can turn the feature off at any time.

9. Fees and plans

Some parts of the service are free, and some require a paid subscription, add-on, or custom arrangement. Prices, plan limits, and features may change from time to time. If you use a paid plan, you agree to the billing terms presented at the time of purchase.

10. Third-party services

CashMango may integrate with or rely on third-party services—such as our hosting and authentication provider (Supabase), a messaging/SMS provider, a third-party AI provider, and the payment channels you choose. We are not responsible for the performance, availability, terms, or actions of third-party services that operate outside CashMango.

11. Intellectual property

CashMango and its related content, branding, software, and product materials remain the property of Hotlab Company Limited or its licensors, except for content that you upload or record. You grant CashMango a limited right to host, process, display, and transmit your content as needed to operate the service.

12. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using CashMango you acknowledge the practices described there, including the storage and processing of data by our infrastructure providers and the retention of audit and consent records.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the service where necessary to protect the platform, investigate misuse, comply with law, enforce these terms, or address security risks. You may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion of your account as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Disclaimer

CashMango is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or suitability for every use case. Nothing in the service constitutes financial, legal, investment, or tax advice.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CashMango and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data arising from or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will be limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant paid service during the twelve months before the claim, or the minimum amount permitted by law if no such payment was made.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Ghana, subject to any mandatory legal rights you may have as a consumer.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice through the service. Continued use of the service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
